Voucher Purchases
 |
| 1. |
All purchases of a voucher must be made on one of our standard booking forms or through our online booking system. |
| 2. |
Bookings may also be made by telephone if payment is made by credit/debit card, a booking form will then be sent out to you to sign to complete the order. |
| 3. |
This contract is made with you, the original purchaser, but you may give it to someone else provided you tell us in writing. These Terms and Conditions will still apply and “you” in the rest of these Terms and Conditions will apply to that person. |
| 4. |
It is our intention that all the terms of the contract between us are contained in these Terms and Conditions and in the brochures and associated documents (if any) issued by us. If you wish to rely on any variation to these terms you should ensure that we agree the variations in writing when the completed booking form is returned. |

Our obligations to you
 |
| 5. |
A voucher purchase will provide you with the opportunity to participate in a hot air balloon flight experience at a date to be arranged, within the 12-month period of validity. This includes; preparation and inflation of the balloon for flight (participation optional), a flight in a Hot Air Balloon, deflation and packing of the balloon at the end of the flight (optional), Champagne Celebration and Flight Certificate. |
| 6. |
Vouchers are not redeemable for cash. |
| 7. |
Hot Air Balloon flights are completely dependent on weather conditions and are regulated by the Air Navigation Order. It may be necessary to postpone a flight at any time if in our judgement the conditions are not safe or the flight would not be permitted under the Air Navigation Order. We will give you as much warning as operational procedures allow, of any postponement, but in order to ensure your safety we reserve the right to postpone a flight at any time up to the moment of launch. |
| 8. |
Every flight is different. It is intended that the balloon will be in the air for approximately 1 hour but the pilot has ultimate responsibility for the duration and conduct of any flight and the appropriate time and place of landing. We cannot guarantee a flight will follow any particular direction, cover a specific distance or fly at any specific height. Whilst you may specify a particular launch site, this may be varied, at short notice, according to availability, weather conditions and airspace restrictions. |
| 9. |
If we have to postpone your flight on 8 or more occasions and your voucher is then valid for a period of less than two months, we will extend the validity of the voucher to include the next 6 months of the flying season, which is normally March to October. |
| 10. |
Ballooning in the Cotswolds reserves the right to charge for extending the validity of a voucher where such an extension is not specified in these Terms & Conditions. |
| 11. |
If you are unable to fly during the validity of the voucher because you are pregnant we will extend the validity by 9 months. |
| 12. |
We will make you a refund, less 50% administration costs in the following circumstances:
| • |
If it is certified by a Doctor in writing, that there is no possibility that you will be medically fit to fly (other than for reasons of pregnancy), during the period of validity of your voucher. |
| • |
If we have agreed in writing at the time of purchase that the flight must be taken on a specified date or within a specified period of time of not more than one month and we are unable to fly you during that specified period. |
|
| 13. |
No refunds will be made for a booking on a deposit basis. |
| 14. |
Refunds in any other circumstances are at our discretion. |
