The association between Champagne and Ballooning
goes back to the pioneers of balloon flight in France in 1783
and then the decadent lifestyles of the Gas Balloonists of
the late C19th. We maintain that tradition by celebrating
our return to earth with a glass of Champagne (or juice)
after landing.
The farmer or landowner may well join us, or we drive to local
beauty spot, where we can watch the sunset or enjoy the peace
and quiet of early morning! What better way to celebrate your
birthday, Anniversary or special occasion?
