What do I wear?

Outdoor clothing appropriate for the time of year is suggested,
although long trousers and sleeves are recommended at all
times, preferably of natural fibres. Stout footwear is best;
remember you may encounter wet grass and the odd cowpat! You
may also find a hat useful.

Can I take a camera?

Yes of course! Balloons make the ideal platform for photography.
But please, no bulky equipment. Bring twice as much film as
you think you will need... you'll use it!

What is good ballooning weather?

For safe and enjoyable flying the winds must be light and
the air cool and stable, hence the early morning and late
evening schedule. We do not fly in rain, poor visibility or
when surface winds exceed 10mph. Cancellations are therefore
inevitable.

What if my flight is cancelled?

If you flight is cancelled due to adverse conditions, simply
call us again and rebook another day. It may be necessary
to do this more than once.

What about Insurance and is it safe?

Ballooning has the best safety record of all air sports and
is strictly controlled by the Civil Aviation Authority. We
carry Insurance cover against the risk of any injury or damage
to passengers and their belongings during the course of our
flights in accordance with International Agreements covering
Air Transport.

Is there an age limit?

There is no upper age limit but you should be sufficiently
fit to climb in and out of the basket unaided and able to
stand for at least an hour.
Children must be at least 8 years old and if under 16 accompanied
by an adult

Can my friends and family come and watch?

Yes by all means, but they may not be able to follow the whole
flight. Arrangements will be made to meet them later.

Are there any fitness limitations?

Some physical conditions may preclude you from flying. If
you have a serious medical complaint or have undergone recent
surgery you should seek you doctors opinion. Women who know
they are pregnant should not fly.

How long does the flight last?

The flight duration is approximately 1 hour but you should
allow 3-4 hours for the whole adventure. For summer evenings
we do not suggest you organise anything after your flight
as our return is often after closing time!

Where do we launch from?

We have a number of launch sites throughout the Cotswolds,
and you may choose one you prefer. All our flights are however
planned to give an interesting and scenic flight path. No
two flights are ever the same, thats half the fun of
ballooning. |
